It’s made about as well as anything else that is imported from China is. It looks slightly less well made than the product photos when you get it, maybe a little flimsier than expected, but should generally do the job. However, when changing the blade today, the retractable slide bit was tough to move and when it finally moved the blade projectile-launched out and onto the floor. If someone else told me this happened I would seriously think they were exaggerating but it happened right before my unbelieving eyes. We get a lot of stickers tape and parts of signage stuck on floors and walls and there's no good way to remove them without a razor blade. These are great tools because they're retractable, they have good grips, and they come with steel and plastic blades so if necessary you can use them with a little more safety.
