Now that GoPro has a super view it wasn't a problem even when extended. Looks appealing and durable and not flimsy. The weight isn't a problem as well. My only cons were the strap below as I couldn't tell if it rusting or at any time going to be detached since the secure hand strap is inside the rubber handle.
