**Q: Is this a sphere, just flattened at bottom? 1/2 circle?  dome shape? need to know what it looks like from side view.**
A: Flattened at the bottom so that it has a resting point and doesn't roll away, about 1/2 inch. The total diameter is a 3" sphere. The dandelion floats in the center of that, facing up. It's a nice piece.

A: No, just looks like looking through clear glass from every degree of the sphere. I love mine. I have two in different sizes.

The paperweights shouldn’t have a blue tint. You should be able to return it for a refund and then reorder it.
