Admittedly, a very very slight bitter/metallic taste, albeit, tbh, was not dissimilar to that said bitter/metallic taste you get from cocoa powder. So, all good. *I happened to be drinking a cup of coffee at the time it was delivered, so I threw a bit in it, and yyyyummmmie! It's rather sweet, but I think that's a good thing as the level of sweetness is equal to the level of "chocolate" flavor- meaning you don't need a lot. - at least IMO. It's also water thin (which is expected as there is no ingredient that would add viscosity, eg: corn syrup or sugar), so given the concentrated sweetness/flavor, I recommend putting it in a pourtop bottle like I did. *If you don't have one, try a spent honey or ketchup squeeze bottle, for example (I always save mine, lol). Or... just poke a small hole in the safety seal -sorry if the above seems obvious, you'd be surprised how many times I've heard - "I've never thought of that", haha.
