The Ghost Chili Pepper, scientifically known as Bhut Jolokia, is a chili pepper variety native to the Northeast region of India. This is much closer to pure Ghost Peppers than any ghost hot sauce. Is has a smooth texture and taste. And just the right amount of heat, imo. ..yes, I like it hot. But you prob do too if you’re buying this. In comparison/contrast, Magic’s reaper mash isn’t as smooth, is about twice the heat, and is full of seeds. That one is something I use when training my tolerance. This ghost purée is what I like if I just want to sit back and enjoy the food.

Thought I wrote a review of this product already. I use it in my jerky recipe for heat. I thought it would be hotter than Carolina Reaper but it’s somewhat less spicy. That aside, the flavor is there without the smokey taste.
