Review: Fast, powerful, economical. - We got this gas stove because I wanted a backup for power outages and to take with us when we go camping. I tried it out and I liked it so much that I now use it for most of my stovetop cooking because it’s so easy to adjust the temperature from slightly warm to blazing hot, it’s very powerful and it heats up instantaneous; it’s so convenient not to have to wait for a coil to heat up. It’s not the cheapest option out there but it is well made and well worth the money. The warming plate underneath the canister is ingenious, I finished the first fuel canister this week and there wasn’t a drop of unused butane left in the bottle, very impressive! I used a Coleman butane canister I bought at Walmart while I awaited delivery of the proprietary Iwatani butane canisters. The Coleman canister fits and works great, it also costs quite a bit less, but I must add the flame from the Iwatani canister seems to be a bit cleaner and more consistent. You can decide based on your priorities and preferences which you want to use.

This was a nice compact camp stove. It seems to work the same as the large stoves when it comes to temperature, and durability. There isn't an odor since it's butane and not propane.
