The cap is a bit hard to open; I squeezed the cap and was able to open it by pushing it up while squeezing. It comes with a skinny straw taped to the side to deposit it into small places. However, I was not able to fit the straw into the opening of nozzle. I managed to do the lock by just spraying it. I used it to spray the mailbox as it was freezing shut without it. It worked. Then I used to lubricate the lock that was a little sticky. Very smooth now. Sprayed the car doors, no problem opening car doors after an ice storms. Everything in there is either a petroleum distillate or a substance made from petroleum distillates. **Q: Will this product bond with rtv moulding silicone if us as a mould release?** A: There are likely petroleum distillates which carry the Teflon in this product, so no, it isn't going to "bond." It would likely work as a mold release, however, why not just buy mold release? **Q: Does it remain shiny when dry? Would it be suitable as a tire dressing & resist dirt & mud in tire well?** A: have not tried that.
