This hassle-free Stainless Steel cone is rust resistant & features a bird Breast width of 2 to 3 in. The overall length is 19.7 in. With a top opening of 9.7 in. & a 3 in. Bottom opening. Kudos on quick delivery especially amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. Review on product: We have used these for three butcherings and they have seen well over 100 birds at this point. The design and size has fit broilers at 8 weeks old and an average of 5.5 dressed weight along with older roosters in which were 20 week old Orpingtons and Australorps (large breeds). Admittedly, a large cone would have been an easier use for both birds, but I do not knock the product nor the company on my error of size selection. Simply stating for the next purchaser to size up. Cleaning has been simple. I wanted to note one area of concern as I take cleanliness within processing very important. The design of this cone creates a seam within the back of the cone in which can harbor bacteria if not appropriately cleaned. We have a large washtub in which these soak in hot soapy water after a day of processing. Recommendation: we may take this down to the shop and weld the seam to appease my OCD on cleanliness and ease of clean. Not necessary to 99% but I wanted to share why I rated only at a 4/5 for ease of cleaning. Overall: the product for the price was well worth the purchase. In the picture, you may notice we used an alternate product and design on the other side of our dispatch stand. We prefer the cylindrical cones as these yardbirds for our processing and will be ordering 6 cones to replace our four and increase our processing productivity.
