They look like torx but it's hard to tell from the picture** A: Yes they are torx. Very sturdy picket clip. **Q: does your liner lock feel sticky, hard to 'unlock' ,mine does slightly and i was curious if they were made that way.** A: Mine seems a little slow to open but I just got it. I feel like it is starting to flick open faster now after a week or so. I am hoping it just needs to get worn in a little. I suppose its possible some come with weaker springs. I purchased a Kershaw Brawler at the same time and that flicks open with a little more authority. Its blade is half an inch shorter though which would make it open easier than the fatback. I just ordered another Fatback so I can see what that one is like. This is a pretty sweet knife for the price. **Q: The tip has broken off my knife is this covered under warranty?** A: Go find a belt sander and you can put a new tip on it by grinding the back edge of the blade, to remove Enough material to make a new point. I had to do this on my first one after I snapped the tip off. I lament the loss of the black oxide on the back edge, but beggars can’t be choosers. Now that I know that they’ll replace the blade for 10 bucks I may exercise that option, though as others have stated, it’s a workhorse, not a showhorse, she’ll still take me where I want to go :-p **Q: What type of washers does this knife have? Nylon or bronze?** A: While I have not taken the knife apart, using a very powerful light, I was able to determine that the washers appear to be bronze. I cannot determine if they also have thin plastic/nylon washers as well which is something I have noted on other knives.
