For those who eat to eat healthy and not necessarily because they love the taste, this product is awesome in a smoothie. I don't think I would go with mixing this into a glass of water that some seem to enjoy, but clearly there are those who love the taste of greens and those who don't. It's like kids and broccoli, some love it and others hate it. But for health purposes, this is an awesome product well worth adding to your diet. I, for one, will not drink this in water. I don't care for the taste of alfalfa. But it does have a lovely sweet taste when added to my smoothie in the morning, and I do feel an instantaneous 'pep' and burst of energy afterwards. I've made the mistake of adding too much and had my husband come forth complaining that he's not a cow. So it is very easy to overdue the proportion and create too distinct a taste that could ruin an otherwise tasty breakfast smoothie. We have indulged in both chlorella and spirulina and I can assure you, the difference is overwhelming as these two items we can barely tolerate no matter what method we use to mask the taste. Clearly the wheat grass is tastier, sweeter, milder, and less offensive, but it does taste very good when added correctly to other recipes. Again, it's like buttermilk--you may have to develop a 'taste' for it, or you may absolutely love it. I recommend either trying a smaller version first to determine if it's for you, and experimenting in different recipes to find an agreeable method that pleases your taste buds.
