I was (as most will) be replacing an existing fixture, which is usually centered in the room. So, you will either have to drill a hole in the middle of the fixture and extend the wires or have the light mounted off-center of the room in order to cover the ceiling junction box. The output lumens is okay. However, only in the 3000k-4000k range. For some reason, if you change the color above that, the lumen output drops drastically. I installed it in a tiny laundry room and it barely puts out enough light for my liking. I was hoping for many lumens and very high Kelvin color.
