Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Roofull external DVD/CD writer drive excellent WHEN USED WITH CARE! *by T***. on August 2, 2025* Like most external optical drives this one seems fragile. Handle with care. But it DOES work flawlessly when used with gentleness and discernment. The first one I received malfunctioned; it would not eject a disk in the drive. I returned that unit and requested a replacement. No instructions were included with either unit, but the Roofull people sent me an email of instructions after my return. This unit has a data USB cable and a power USB cable. It seems the power USB cable should be connected BEFORE the data USB cable is connected. That is the only difference in my use of the two units. The second unit has performed flawlessly. I give it less than 5 stars because instructions are not included in the package and the average user would make the same mistake I did when connecting the USB cables.
