I had unfortunately already returned the item as it had been several days with no response. Long story short, they apologized for the delayed response, offered to help (if I still had it) and offered to send me a new unit to try out. The new one showed up a couple of days later. It worked just as expected. I've been able to plug in all the pedals I'm currently using for my rig, making the entire thing more efficient and "clean" which is what I wanted. Thank you DONNER MUSIC for stepping up and making things right. It is a "no brainer" type of product and so far, it works for me as intended. If you have multiple stomp-boxes, pedals, etc., to your instrument rig, I seriously recommend taking a look at one of these units and giving it a try. The LED lights give it a nice touch not just cosmetically (as it does look nice), but it gives some much-needed light when you're in a dark stage, studio room or other situation like that. Ive seen others in this price range that appear to be isolated but the reviews have said they arent.** A: The outputs are isolated. Looking at the photos posted by one reviewer, there is a separate voltage regulator for each output. While all the regulators get their power from the same 18 volt power pack, there is no way noise (or a short circuit) from one stomp box can feed backwards through its regulator and cause problems with the 18 volt supply or any of the other outputs. OK, maybe a lightning strike or some other catastrophic power surge in a stomp box might do it, but something that powerful could also travel through the signal cables. In other words, even though there is only one 18 volt power source, all the outputs are isolated from each other by their voltage regulator circuits. Even if they all had their own 18 volt power sources, those would all be plugged into the same 115 volt outlet, so still not 100% isolated. **Q: Before I purchase,...some of my pedals are reverse polarity. "center pin negative" and others are "center pin positive" Will this power supply work?** A: Mine came with two short (about three inch) cables for this purpose. They have female connections on one end and male connections on the other end, so you would simply plug the cable coming from the power supply (the one that you want to reverse polarity on) into the female end of this cable, then plug the male end into your effects pedal. If you have a meter handy, I would check the output of this cable before I plugged it into the pedal, just to be sure the polarity has been reversed properly. (better safe than sorry) **Q: Can someone enlighten me what is the 9v 500ma is for? can i use it on regular 9v boss pedal like boss cs-3?** A: Just bought this and it looks like it won’t turn on with my RC-500 off of the 500 port.
