The mouse trap is installed correctly and completely shut but mice still manage to make their way out. You can see the short mice hair on the glue board indicating that they were indeed present, struggled a bit, and managed to escape from it. But then they managed to easily escape from the metal cage too. So how is this solution effective? For the past whole month, I've had three of these laying around the house in positions recommended in product description, and only managed to catch just one mice. One mice in one whole month while all others come in, have dinner, and easily escape.
