They do stretch out a bit after a while, but I kept these as I think a size down would be too small for me. Rise: these are on the higher side for mid rise. I had mid rise Lucky jeans, several years ago that would noticeably lower. They hit just below my belly button. Length: the 30 length “ankle” jeans are slightly longer than my other petite jeans. They fit me perfectly for boot-cut, breaking slightly at the ankle, but not dragging the floor with shoes on. I’m not sure who would buy boot cut ankle jeans. Unless you are on the petite side, I would go with 32” or longer. If you are “very petite” you will probably have to hem. Overall fit: very much like the picture / true boot cut (slight flare, snug through thighs). Fabric: a bit more stretch than I’d prefer, but feels very soft and comfy. These are medium weight.
