He played and slept in it, didn't seemed bothered by the amount or feeling of the clothes at all.My son was right on the cusp between the 0-3 and 3-6 month sizes, so I just went with the 3-6. I am very happy I went with the larger size because the pants are a shorter style anyways. But once it was on, it was very cute. I thought it'd be too big, and it was a tad big, the shorts were almost full length pants. But it was ok, he looked very cute for the 2 hours he wore it. I liked that the bow tie didn't actually go around his neck, but just snaps on. This is very lightweight, it'd be great in the summer. We were in Phoenix, so it was okay even in November.
