**Q: How to Replace the TomTom GO 4CT50 Battery**
A: On Youtube there is a video that shows the procedure.  From Amazon you get a kit that contains a plastic case-opening tool.  You pry open the case, remove some screws with the included-in-the-kit screwdriver.  Cables in the way are removed and eventually you get to the battery.  You replace the battery, and put everything back together again.  There are good instructions that come with the kit.  The only problem is that sometimes replacing the battery does not solve the problem.  I replaced the battery on a GO930, and that solved the problem.  I replaced the battery on a GO 7935 and that did NOT fix the problem.  TomTom was no help, because my unit was out of warranty, so I had to buy another unit.  That was not a good solution to my problem.
