I can see the wood through the sticker. The paper they print these on isn't white enough and stickers appear to be almost transparent. I bought the American made stickers and quality is so much better. The colors are much more vibrant. It is easier for them to find the correct notes with the color codes strips. For those who had difficulty applying the strips, I recommend folding them slightly (adhesive side out) to keep them straight as they slide under the strings. The easiest way, of course, is to remove the strings.
