The game pieces are too small for a baby who puts things in their mouth, but it's great for a baby who can sit up to encourage them using their hands and fingers. I put the game pieces away since I bought this because it was a low price for the bead roller coaster up top, and the flipping pictures and beads on the sides. This is exactly what I wanted, and it seems fine to me.
