Product Description Our security chains are made of hardened steel with a special anti-corrosion coating which makes them ideal for outdoor use. The links are not round like on common chains, but are square-shaped which is a lot more effective against attacks with tools. Review: ABUS 12ks six foot chain - This review is for the ABUS 12ks six foot chain. Very heavy and massive. The beefiest security chain I’ve ever owned. VERY heavy, possible too heavy to carry around on a bicycle. I’ll be using it to secure something stationary along with an ABUS 37ST/55 Granit padlock. I feel confident that this combo will serve its purpose. Highly recommend both chain and padlock for something that you want to keep.

This review is for the ABUS 12ks six foot chain. Very heavy and massive. The beefiest security chain I’ve ever owned. VERY heavy, possible too heavy to carry around on a bicycle. I’ll be using it to secure something stationary along with an ABUS 37ST/55 Granit padlock. I feel confident that this combo will serve its purpose. Highly recommend both chain and padlock for something that you want to keep.

The chain has large links and may not be suitable for certain task such as a gate. It is suitable for locking up equipment and hopefully intimidating to thieves so they don't attempt to steal your stuff.
