I originally heard about Philip B.'s Russian amber shampoo, which was heralded as a miracle shampoo by beauty editors. I decided to try a sample of the Russian amber before I committed to a $100 bottle. On a whim, I decided to buy a sample of the peppermint and avocado shampoo too. It was a total impulse buy based on the fact that I like both peppermint and avocado.I am so glad I randomly decided to get the peppermint and avocado sample. I was totally unimpressed with the Russian amber, but the peppermint and avocado shampoo was excellent for my hair. I love the tingly feeling I get on my scalp from the peppermint. The shampoo is very light and leaves no residue. It does not weigh down my fine hair at all. My hair feels healthy and has a lot of volume. This is the best shampoo I have ever used.
