Review: Well built and after a (now 2 years) of constant use and abuse it still works flawlessly! - July, 2019, and another year (almost) of using this frequently for professional use and it is still working perfectly! The ball valve doesn't leak and the handle still turns on and off with minimal pressure. Original post: I bought this a year ago next week and I've used it professionally for my side business cleaning roofs and houses as well as around the house and it is still easy to turn to open and close the valve. The handle being angled up like this is either a curse or blessing depending on your point of view. If you ever pull the hose to you, the handle ends up full of grass and dirt. On the flip side, it is easier to maneuver than others I've used, and you can easily hook it on your pocket or belt momentarily versus dropping the hose and bending down to pick it up, which at the end of the day after going up and down ladders and dragging hoses around, every little bit helps! My other two similar shut off valves are not in as good of shape. One still functions fairly well, but the other will not open or close...it's just a dead weight on the end of the hose and has locked onto the hose. I'll be buying more of these next year when I'm ramping up when the weather warms up some in late winter.

**Q: where is this made?**
A: Proudly made in Taiwan, supporting an ally to the USA. For you who assume Taiwan is China, please do your research. Taiwan produces some of the best goods in the world, with excellent quality control, safety measures and treats their employees like human beings.

**Q: Do the male and female inlet/outlet on this fit a typical garden water hose?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can this be used with a quick connect kit? Outdoor faucet currently has back flow preventer and will not allow the quick connect to function.**
A: I have 12 of these attached on the hoses in my yard and all of them are used with quick connect adapters (Dramm).  Actually, I have 2 quick connect adapters on each hose - 1 between the hose bib and the hose and another on the end of the hose, which permits me to easily switch between various nozzles.

**Q: Is it easy to turn the knob? I mean... really easy? (I'm getting this for my wife who has injury in her hands and has trouble with normal hose bibb)**
A: The amount of torque needed to move the handle from close to open is probably about the same as any other valve of similar configuration. The thing about this one is that the lever is angled significantly upward, which allows you to put more on it. You could use the heel of your palm, or the edge of your hand, to open the valve. It is very well made and it is the smoothest of any that I have ever used. And I've used a few.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Valve!

I bought one of these valves about six years ago. It is still working just as good as the day I got it. I just bought a second one for a different hose and it appears to be the same quality and works good. Solid brass with a stainless steel ball. The original six year old valve has never leaked and is still easy to turn on and off. This valve may cost a little more than the cheaper ones, but I like the quality and durability and recommend this valve.
