Product Description The ExStik® II DO600 meter displays Oxygen level as percent of Saturation from 0 to 200. 0 percent or Concentration from 0 to 20.00 ppm (mg/L). It features Adjustable Altitude Compensation (0 to 20,000 feet in 1,000 ft. increments), Adjustable Salinity Compensation from 0 to 50 ppt and an analog bargraph for indicating trends. DO600 meter includes a DO electrode, protective sensor cap, spare membrane cap, electrolyte, four 3V CR-2032 batteries, and 48" (1.2m) neck strap. From the Manufacturer Oxygen level displayed as percent Saturation from 0 to 200.0percent or Concentration from 0 to 20.00ppm (mg/L). Adjustable Altitude Compensation (0 to 20,000ft in 1,000ft increments). Adjustable Salinity Compensation from 0 to 50ppt. Analog bargraph indicates trends. Memory stores up to 25 data sets with DO and Temperature reading. Self calibration on power up, Data Hold, Auto power off, and Low battery indicator. Waterproof to IP57. Either outside water had entered the meter from somewhere or the fluid around the probe found its way inside the meter. Either way this was not only a useless purchase but it's failure has possible compromised a study. Extech will not be on anybody's shopping list around here any time soon!

**Q: Is it for testing the% of oxygen in water, right? Can I use it for fish farming unit?**
A: Hi, I use it to check Dissolved Oxygen in the water for fish as well as for brewing compost teas.

**Q: Does this unit log more than one reading at a time? (Or do you need to write down each reading as you go?)**
A: Unit does not log readings...you must write down and then continue on.

**Q: how wide is the tip that goes in the water?**
A: The tip is about 1/2 inch.

**Q: Can I use this device to measure dissolved oxygen in a water solution with 1% sacarose?**
A: Sorry, I use my meter in rivers and ponds. No idea otherwise.

The second time we attempted to use the Extech "waterproof" DO Meter we found it totally dead. When we removed the cap, the entire inside of the meter was wet with water an battery acids. Either outside water had entered the meter from somewhere or the fluid around the probe found its way inside the meter. Either way this was not only a useless purchase but it's failure has possible compromised a study. Extech will not be on anybody's shopping list around here any time soon!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy Aquaponics/Fish Water Quality Instrument

It is nice to not have to deal with a meter box to lug around. I use this for measuring water quality of fish tank/aquaponics parameters. This handheld gives the temperature rapidly. The dissolved oxygen reading takes about 20 to 30 seconds to stabilize. The calibration and adjustability makes this a very convenient tool to have in one's pocket or hanging from the neck.
