## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it possible to plug this in to a usb 3.2 port albeit at slower transfer speeds? Or does it require the power delivery of thunderbolt 3?**
A: This requires a connection to a Thunderbolt 3 port. This will not work when connected to a USB 3.2 gen 2 port.

**Q: Will the caldigit ts3 plus thunderbolt 3 dock's rear thunderbolt 3 ports be able to power this 10gb ethernet adapter connected to a 2017 macbook pro?**
A: Yes! This will work, and you can do so in addition to the gigabit ethernet adapter on the back of the TS3 Plus.

**Q: Will there be an SFP+ version of this product?**
A: No, we will not be offering an SFP+ version of the Connect 10G.

**Q: Will this work on a 2014 iMac with thunderbolt 2?**
A: This should work as long as you are on a modern operating system as your computer provides the drivers for this unit.
