    Poor translation

I have read most of Dazai's books which have been translated into English but, unfortunately, I could not make it through this one. It's so frustrating because as I'm reading it, I'm desperately trying to engage with, what I'm guessing, is fascinating material but the translation is so clunky that it's virtually unreadable.

Sin duda es uno de los títulos más interesantes de Osamu Dazai, escrito en una época marcada por los estragos de la guerra, esta aventura narrada por la mirada, el sentir, el pensar y el ocultar de Shuji Tsushima es una obra histórica y humana.Es una edición que terminó de imprimirse a finales de septiembre de 2019 y se encuentra muy bien cuidada.Varios apartados del libro son dedicados a desmenuzar la historia de Tsugaru, así como de la mayoría de los poblados que se contienen en él.

This book was advertised as a Kindle book, but did NOT appear in my Kindle library. I could open it in Cloud Reader (read.amazon.co.jp), but for that one needs an internet connection. I want to read my books even when there is no internet.I then tried to move the book into my Kindle library, and got a message that this was successful, and that the book would appear in Kindle shortly.Well, that was more than a week ago...So I am very dissatisfied with this purchase.I cannot say anything about the book, as I have not read it yet.
