Can’t use it for acetone because the acetone would eat through it but it works great for the alcohol. It has a switch to disable the pump mechanism so you won’t press it by accident when not in use. It also has a top which will keep dust off. I use it along with lint free wipes and it dispenses just the right amount of liquid. It is perfect for that. However once it is open and ready for use it will leak if turned over. I found this out when I had it in my lap instead of the table. So I just use it on the table.
