If it wasn't for the scent you could almost mistake this for water, which is perfect in terms of product consistency. I honestly didn't think it would do much because it was so thin, but it instantly softens my hair. I do seal after spraying once or twice a week with a light oil, and I respray with this 2 or 3 times a week. I could probably use this every day if I didn't use oil as well. Virtually no buildup on wash day every 2 weeks and the scent isn't overpowering, can easily be masked with other scents I find.
