Prior to purchasing, I was skeptical about the bag being secured with only a zipper, but this is a very strong/well constructed zipper and it would take a whole lot of effort to be pried open. Good value for the money from a manufacturer of quality luggage. It's lightweight, not as heavy as some of the round hard plastic cases. It survived its first direct US flight roundtrip with only one minor gouge, nothing significant. For the occasional domestic golfer it's a great choice. I'd opt for something more substantial if I was traveling 15 or more times a year and to exotic golf venues outside of the US or with multiple bag handling stops. It is long; I had to change rental cars twice and ended up with a minivan in order to get it to fit.
