## Questions & Answers

**Q: My bottle has a 2" diameter will the adapters work well? I also want to know if I need to drill a hole in the bottle**
A: The adapters are ok, but even for my wine bottle I had to adapt the adapter!  I used electric tape to make sure it was good and snug. I am not sure if the adapters will fit for 2 inch bottles though. And I drilled my bottle so my cord would go through the bottom.

**Q: What is the maximum wattage bulb I could use in this kit?**
A: There is no warning on the package. I have been using 75 watt LED bulbs, but I just bought a 100 watter.

**Q: how many watts does the socket allow? can a lampshade be placed on the top of the socket?**
A: don't remember on the watts of the socket..... the lampshade goes on the bulb unless you get the bracket to screw the lampshade on..

**Q: I have an existing standard lamp that doesn't work anymore, not a bottle that I am making into a lamp.  Can I use this to fix a regular lamp?**
A: It is a complete lamp less the actual base and shade,  you can replace all of the eletrical in your regular lamp, that should fix it.
