It won't crush tuna tins or soup cans. In the video clip you can see how a wooden spreader had to be fitted in order assist the travelling ram staying within the side guide-rails. It is really unfit for the task. **Q: Does this come with required fixing screws** A: dont think it did come with fixing I would say though I mounted mine on wall and have to tie handle up as dont stay up it's a loose design we live with it but would not buy again does the job sort of but only on soft drink cans hope this helps **Q: The screws supplied look like masonry screws , what size drill did anyone use or did you use raw plugs ?** A: To Be honest I used my own screws with my own wall plugs, I used a 5mm masonry drill with 5mm wall plugs and similar screws, do make sure you check clearance below the crusher so you dont trap your fingers, I also used some friction tape to stop the cans from flying out. I hope this helps. **Q: Is this the mint green colour on the main picture (needs to match the wifes kitchen colours)** A: No sorry it’s not green. Mine is pale grey. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does what's needed *by F***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 February 2022* These are great for large drink cans but not gd for anything stronger like a tin can ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Can Crusher *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 October 2020* Bought two can crushers for 500ml cans. Perfect! Very smooth action when using and easy to fix to a wall/cupboard. Very steady and saves buckets of space in your recycling bin! This product was due to arrive on 6/10/2020 but to my surprise arrived 3/10/2020. I only ordered on 1/10/2020. Super fast delivery! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good crusher, but not heavy duty *by G***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2021* Did a fair bit of research before buying this as I've owned one like this before and the side arms buckled after a week so I was quite wary of the build quality. I've mounted it to the wall (easy 5min job) and so far all good. I have found that if you hold the can with the spare hand whilst gently but firmly crushing the can it wont flip out and the arms don't bend. All good so far but probably because I'm treating it with a bit of respect --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/134650361-ossianwall-mounted-2-in-1-can-crusher-and-bottle-opener](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/134650361-ossianwall-mounted-2-in-1-can-crusher-and-bottle-opener) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
