The bulge has an effective circumference of 30cm - if it were round instead of "oval" it would be 9.5cm/3.7 inch diameter. 16cm/6 inch from tip to bulge. I would class myself as experienced with these kinds of toys. Even so the tip required plenty of lubricant and a slightly diagonal positioning. Once inside there was a sense of relief and mind blowing pleasure - I've never tried something of this shape and was curious how it might feel. Slow rhythmic use induces a curious sensation of pressure then vacuum due to the plunger effect of the tip. The vacuum caused an unintended side effect but so pleasurable was the moment I couldn't stop relishing the animalistic lust this thing gives you. If you're going to sweep the chimney expect some soot. It's solid but nicely flexible and bendy and the suction cup is great for a hand or two to hold onto. It's nice and heavy too - letting gravity pull it down and the big tip making it stay in place is a knee trembling sensation indeed! The bulge is simply ridiculous in size. The effective circumference is larger than my 1l bottle of tonic next to my gin (3 inches across - this toy is nearly 4).
