I don't squat unassisted anymore and need at least knee wraps otherwise I get joint pain. When they broke three months ago I decided to try sleeves. Ordered a good 7 others since then and every one has been wrong size, won't go over my calves or shockingly bad quality. Most sleeves on desertcart are £30 plus, maybe £40 depending on size and brand. Beast Gear looked the part but won't fit and dont have my size but allot of reviews show tearing. I have a Cerberus Strength velcro belt and I thought for the sake of an extra £15, £20 why not. When they arrived I thought there definitely a bust as they must be wrong size, these are massive. Even for 4XL there huge but there bang on. They just slide over my calves and are firm but not circulation stopping when in position. So other then leg pressing last three month I've done no free standing squats so thought I'd take it easy and go light. My max is around 163kg but I ark up in big pyramid sets to avoid injury. Problem with these sleeves is they felt so good with the belt too, which I havnt used for squats before that I was almost back upto 163 in minutes. Even then I used to get 2-3 reps at a push. I did 6 reps with these on and other than being nakared it felt like nothing. I ended finishing I. 177kg for reps before pyramiding down and hitting the leg press. Was stupid as i was feeling it two days later but less than a week later and I got upto 183kg yesterday for reps. I genuinely rate these things and Cerberus strength and I'm not sponsored or anything I just lift alot in between work and these things helped me squat just over 400pounds only the second time using them after a long absence from squatting. I'm on a bit of a change of work out as I'm getting older so I'm buying more wraps and aids to look after myself more and I'd just had some Beast Gear wrist wraps delivered too, I've already returned them in favour I've Cerberus. Again it might not sound like it but I'm not sponsored, it's not a paid review, it's just honest. All there stuff is quality, it's mostly strongman rated so it's a built to last.
