No outer box. The turn table and speakers were free floating within the box and both are heavily damaged. It looks like someone opened the box, sat on the items and then threw them haphazardly back into the box and sent them to me. I bought this item "new" but it was clear that it was used extensively. The tonearm is completely broken and there are many scratches all over the turntable and speakers.
