Review: The Heavy Duty Triple Tier - One heavy duty stand! My problem has always been a heavy key (Voyager, G7, Motif) on the top tier and I'm just nervous the whole performance. The stage/riser gets to moving with dancers (or an excited choir) and lets just say "I've seen the unthinkable happen" but not during my show. The welds look deep and the hardware is tight, not the usual "loose" Chinese 8mm screws you are afraid to tighten very much cause they'll strip out. The arm-position adjuster cams are aluminum with deeply machined teeth that mesh perfectly, not the "stamped steel teeth in tube steel" that I have contended with and had to reinforce twice on my other stands. One cool feature is the forward/reward adjust on the 2nd and 3rd tier arms. The second tier is a tad bit shorter than normal stands, but it seems to be arranged in a "double-manual" type setup for the primary and second key (like a Hammond) to keep the top most key from being too tall for seated players. The top tier has 3 different heights and has an adjustment bolt thru-the-frame for strength. It can be tilted down substantially for seated players. One really cool small detail is one of the feet ends is eccentric and can be rotated to keep the stand from rocking on risers that aren't flat (pretty common). It's not a cheap stand, but with 10 grand worth of keys on it, it was worth it for my peace-of-mind. Well done Quick Lok!
Review: Solid Three Tier Stand - This is the second one of these stands I've owned. The first lasted 7 years of regular gigs. The newer version is more solid, than my older one, it's just better made. As long as you don't have monster keyboards, this works great. I use a Roland RD2000 on the bottom, a 61 key controller for the second tier and a large synth rack on the top. Caution must be used when opening and closing the stand. Make sure you loosen the upper tier arms first or you'll damage the unit sooner or later.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can the middle tier arms be moved in so they aren't so far apart? How close together can the 3rd tier arms go?**
A: You will have the most adjustability at a standing height (which is what the picture depicts). The base of this is an x-stand, so how wide you spread the x will determine how wide a keyboard you need on the bottom tier. The angles of the support arms are adjustable at the bottom tier and the middle tier. The closest I could get the middle tier at sitting height (bottom widest x setting) was about 12 inches (that would still allow for a bottom-tier keyboard beneath it). The wider the spread between adjacent tiers as to narrow-wide, the more the height of each keyboard becomes a potential issue, but there is a lot of adjustability available. I use mine with a 76-key on the bottom and two 61-keys above it, so width of the keyboard is not a problem for me.

**Q: Can you remove the top tier 3rd if you don’t need it**
A: Yes it can be removed.

**Q: Can the bottom tier accomdate an 88 key keyboard w/ two 61 key keyboards on the 2nd and 3rd tier?**
A: It probably could, but I have a 77 key keyboard on the bottom of mine and use a separate stand for my 88 key because it is very heavy

**Q: how much can the second tier be tilted? Enough to allow the bottom tier controls to be fully visible?**
A: Yes. You can adjust the tilt degree and the height of the tier.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, But Could Be Better
*by B***E on July 6, 2020*

The stand does exactly what it’s supposed to. However, there are a few spots that it is a bit wobbly. It’s nothing too bad, but who knows if down the road it could get worse. I still like it though!
