I would have called to get a refund or returned the item if I received the incorrect size. I just added the item to my cart and also noticed although both sizes are offered it is described in the cart as "8 oz". I would just verify you did choose 16oz which is slightly more than the 8 oz and do not be hesitate to report it to Amazon if you received the smaller size.
