I thought I’d try this and very happy I did. It was great!! Easy to use, and more importantly it blended and you can’t even tell the counter was repaired. Highly recommend. Review: I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obviou - My children damaged the laminate counter top in the kitchen - many knicks and scratches and chipped edges. After a lot of searching, I saw a youtube video of this product to repair laminate counter tops. I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obvious. Seam-Fil is awesome and did the trick! It was very easy to fill in the spots. Be sure to follow the product instructions for best results. I used a putty knife to fill in the blemished on the top of the counter. Deeper spots required more than one application. A word of warning: it dries quickly! I found that squeezing a dime sized amount out of the tube and working with it. Then repeat as necessary. If you squeeze out to much, it will dry out and you won't be able to use it. A little goes a long way too! I had a lot of areas to fix and barely used the tube. Plenty left over for the next time one of the kids uses the counters for a workbench. I also had to use it to repair deep gouges and chips on the edges of the counter (someone decided to saw the counters in multiple places). I used the putty knife and my finger to get the Seam Fil into the gouges. Again, it took multiple applications; but the quick drying time made the process very easy. I did use a fine grade sanding block to smooth it out (since my fingers aren't the best application tool). Picture online looks more beige than ivory/off white.** A: The best I can say is that the product when dry seems to match the photo you see online - more toward a creamy warm almond than a cool beige color. It saved my counter top and I am happy with the product. **Q: Is the solvent really necessary? It's pretty expensive.** A: I just used a little laquer thinner. It’s mostly used to just clean the area for the seam fil. **Q: My countertop looks offwhite but there is no offwhite option. Highly recommended!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for a novice DIY-er *by O***E on December 5, 2016* I have used this Seam-Fil on my tile floor to fill cracks and a large chip and am so happy with the results. I had come to really hate my tile floor because it was so easy to see wear-and-tear. I tried out this Seam-Fil in a couple of spots and changed my mind pretty instantly. The holes are filled really easily and you can't tell that there is any damage underneath the filler. The only drawback is that this dries so quickly. You really have to work fast so that you don't end up with a goopy (dried) mess.
