It was a mess and looked terrible. I used a minimum amount and did a small part of the pond at one time. My pond is clear as can be now and all the frogs, turtles,fish and tadpoles are fine. Good luck. **Q: Will it get ride of duck weed ?** A: No, Cutrine Plus does not work for duckweed. I've used Sonar A.S. for duckweed--works great, but not cheap! **Q: What size area does a 30 lb bag treat** A: We have a 1/2 acre pond - I use a hand spreader and only do the outside ring of the pond once every two weeks - the 30 lbs only lasts for two treatments or one month - if you did the entire 1/2 acre it would take most of a bag **Q: Will my fish try to eat it?** A: I have mosquito fish and frogs in my pond. As with similar pond products, to protect the wildlife I airate my pond with a surface unit to oxygenate the water.
