Review: Disappointed, they chip easily - I bought them for their beauty, but they are not as durable as the Ball hinge brand. Not worth the price. I have only hand washed them and only use these jars for storage not pressure canning and they chip and crack where the lip for the hind is. I threw 2 of the 4 in the trash because I don’t want to risk glass in any product. Disappointed.

I bought them for their beauty, but they are not as durable as the Ball hinge brand. Not worth the price. I have only hand washed them and only use these jars for storage not pressure canning and they chip and crack where the lip for the hind is. This jar is fantastic quality and so far I love it. I don't do any kind of canning but I wanted a latching lid and a thick bottom instead of a cheap, screw on mason jar, and I don't regret this one bit!
