My 4mo is teething early and he's not taken to regular teething toys (including freezable ones) so I bought this in a last ditch effort to find something that would provide him relief. After washing and sterilizing (obviously) I filled the nippi with distilled water and popped it in the freezer. It froze quickly and gave it to my son who was SCREAMING, and as soon as it hit his mouth he was totally calm, looking around like nothing in the world had ever been wrong. Like magic. It's easy to clean, easy to use, and very well made- the material is medical grade silicone (BPA free) and very durable. So far no leaks, and I'm fully confident leaking will never be an issue. The closure is very snug (I actually had to put quite a bit of effort into getting it closed, which I consider a GOOD thing) so I can actually use the loop on the closure to put it on a pacifier clip so it won't fall to the floor. The nippi is definitely worth the money. I came back to buy 2 more, as well as the pack that includes one nippi and the ice tray that's nippi shaped.
