Review: Note - exact replacement but wants pop-rivet tool to install - Exact replacement for the originals (which eventually get plastic rot and break). Easy to install, perfect replacement, look fine, but note - you will need a drill to get the old ones off and a pop-rivet tool to install the new ones. You DO have a pop-rivet tool, right? I don't think this would be fun to do with a couple of vice-grips.

Exact replacement for the originals (which eventually get plastic rot and break). Easy to install, perfect replacement, look fine, but note - you will need a drill to get the old ones off and a pop-rivet tool to install the new ones. You DO have a pop-rivet tool, right? I don't think this would be fun to do with a couple of vice-grips.

Rivets are steel which is good I think. Really need to squeeze them harder the get rivet to break but unlike Aluminum they won't break when under stress & stating so in directions would've been real helpful. Directions were clear but make sure you have a good rivet gun!
