The primary issue - we all have varying dryness needs. One person has psoriasis; two have a sort of skin sensitivity that leaves them dry and itchy. Vanicream handles all of us! No more ashy knees and elbows, no more itchy shins, no more sensation of "my skin is so dry it feels tight". We use it all over, face to toes. When applied thick, you can see white streaks; think - sunblock. Massage it in and it disappears. For the face at night, we use a thicker layer, but it absorbs.
