Just be HAPPY you bought an excellent Rubber Mat *by M***E on February 16, 2026* Some folks complain about a smell which as I've learned over a lifetime usually dissipates as the rubber airs out over time. The process of making Rubber causes the smell which personally I would have thought people would understand before ordering this product! Rubber takes a super long time to deteriorate so it will survive in many situations where as synthetic or fake rubber mats will quickly harden and break apart. I'll deal with any smell the rubber has because I know it will dissipate and I wanted a Matting that holds up to the elements and weather.. If a small really bothers someone use DAWN dish soap to wash both sides before use.
