Works with Nextion Displays without any issues. Worth the price of admission.

I used this to update the firmware on a DSO138 oscilloscope using the ST Flash Loader Demonstrator software. Remember to print out the graphic for the switch positions as a switch instructions sheet is not included. Windows recognized the device without problems setting up a new Com port. Remember to connect TX-RX and RX-TX between the devices.

So using the first configuration line to connect USB to TTY serial, only the USB led lit. the kernel module showed loaded. but still no TX /RX. Returned for a replacement, same thing. I liked the design, if it worked.

Definitely worth it if you know how it works. Worked great for what I needed it for.

I used on a self built Pi-Star hot spot as a interface between board and display module.

Note that for ttl to rs232 to work, the slide switch should be to the right, not the left as indicated.

I havent yet ahcived my old NAS resurrection but thats no fault of this device. . initually, i was concerned about the switches but i plugged in the ports labeled as is and it worked perfectly.

Remember to copy the appropriate information from the pictures of the item (e.g., one illustrates dip switch settings). There are no instructions accompanying the item..

Worked perfectly fine when I first got it but after a few days of use it needed dip switch 1 to be right in the middle for UART to work right with tx and Rx both lit up, minor inconvenience but a annoying one

Tried to flash my Zonoff Bridge with it and it wouldn't work. TX but no RX.

As the image shows, the usb is deformed. I had to pry the metal to make it fit into my computer. Some of the solder joints are not the nicest. Besides that, everything seems to function as described.
