Not only does it have instructions on models to fold, it has a lot of information about origami itself and how to design your own models. I found it very interesting and informative. As others have stated the written instructions and the diagrams are not necessarily on the same page. However I did not find this to much of a challenge for me. I did enjoy the book and the models range from easy to rather difficult. I recommend this book for anyone's library who loves origami.
