This is a door automatic closer for doors that weigh up to 150kg (330lbs max) and are (800-1500mm, 31-60 inch) wide. Also, it is a non-handed closer that will work on left- or right-handed doors exposed to extreme temperatures. - MATERIAL: This door hydraulic closer is manufactured from US26D satin chrome-plated cast aluminum, wrought steel arm. It features a heat-treated piston and a powder-coated body to enhance corrosion resistance. The heavy-duty door closer features three valves for adjustable closing speed, latching speed, and backcheck. This automatic door closer latches while maintaining quiet operation. - CERTIFICATIONS: These auto close door hinges have a UL-certified three-hour fire rating. LYNN HARDWARE closers also carry the ANSI / BHMA A156.4 certification. As ANSI Grade 1 commercial door hardware with 2 million cycles required, DC8016 suits medium to high-traffic applications, such as interior and exterior doors of department stores, offices, and more. This model also complies with accessible design standards. - INSTALLATION: Every pack of commercial door closer we provide contains all the necessary hardware, such as brackets and soffit plate, for installation using any of the 3 mounting types. The mounting options for our surface-mounted door closer are regular arm mounting (most power-efficient), top jamb mounting (fairly power-efficient), and parallel arm mounting (with 25% less power efficiency than the other 2 options). - SPECIFICATIONS: This door closer weighs 7.4 pounds. Its screw/bolt pattern is 12" c-c wide and 3/4" c-c high. It has a footprint height of 2-7/8" (54 mm) and a weight of 13-1/16" (332 mm). This automatic door closer's projection is 2-1/8" (54 mm). Employees are always forgetting to close doors between employee and client areas, and just as bad, manually closing the doors would result in loud and startling slams no matter how gently you tried to close them. Rather than letting our contractor pick the cheapest option, we bought a couple of different door closer models, including this Lynn Heavy Duty Designer model DC8016. Extremely pleased. Instructions were clear and straightforward such that I was able to install myself rather than have our contractor do it. We put the Lynn closer on our most highly trafficked door and a few weeks in, it's still performing flawlessly. A competing, cheaper door closer is already squeaking. The Lynn closers are quiet, strong, and the latch adjustment has completely eliminated the slam such that the only sound heard when closing is the lock latch itself. We will be using Lynn on all our doors now and will probably also replace the other brands because they're just not performing. Lynn hardware is also quick to respond with questions - reached out to them on their website and they actually responded! I was looking for hold-open functionality, which they do have through an arm replacement. I couldn't find here on Amazon, but was able to order by contacting Lynn through their website. Haven't tried the arm yet, but will update this review after I've tried it. Highly recommend his closer! ### āāāāā 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks better in real life *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2022* I was hesitant ordering it as I was not familiar with the various door closers brands. I went with this model because it matched my previous dc of 12.5 inches in width but did not come out 3ā€ like another model I was looking at. Now Iā€™m so thankful that I went with it. It looks really good and works great. ### āāāā 4.0 out of 5 stars Packaging is poor *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2024* I bought two of this item. The first one had no instructions inside. It had obviously been returned. Using you tube videos, I managed to install it. The second on contained a black part and an antique colored part. ## Frequently Bought Together - LYNN HARDWARE Heavy Duty Commercial Door Closer, DC8016 Automatic Door Closer, Surface-Mounted Auto Door Closer, Size 1-6 Commercial Door Closer Heavy Duty for Heavy Traffic Areas, Dark Bronze - LYNN HARDWARE Extra Heavy Duty Commercial Door Closer, DC9016 Automatic Door Closer, Surface-Mounted Auto Door Closer, Size 1-6 Commercial Door Closer Heavy Duty for Heavy Traffic Areas, Dark Bronze --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/124996834-lynn-hardware-heavy-duty-commercial-automatic-door-closer-w-closing](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/124996834-lynn-hardware-heavy-duty-commercial-automatic-door-closer-w-closing) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
