Review: Great QD mount for M-LOK handguards. - I recently bought two uppers and needed to spruce them up with slings. Neither handguard was blessed with a QD mount near the muzzle, so I bought a couple of these mounts. Here is my review, in the form of questions. Do they work? Yes, they work great. Matched them with pushbutton QDs from Magpul. Were they easy to install? Yes, very easy. They don't come with an Allen wrench, but if you're like me you probably have a few hundred from other purchases that included the wrench. Just took a few minutes and all was good. Do they seem durable? Well, I haven't run any marathons with them but they are definitely high quality. They have a nice weight, there are no issues with the fit and finish so I expect them to last a long time. Would you buy them again? Heck, yeah! In fact, I'm going to buy another upper soon so I WILL be buying another one. Or two. We'll see what my bank balance is. Do they turn you instantly into a Navy SEAL? Nope. That takes years of training and a special kind of personality. However, they do look cool AND they work. Isn't that really enough?

**Q: What's the distance between the 2 mounting holes (center-to-center)?**
A: Just measured mine. It is .750 ( 3/4 inch ), from center to center of the hole.

**Q: Does this come with mlok bolts? if so, why aren't they in the picture!**
A: Mine came with the appropriate hardware for attachment. Most likely they aren't in the picture because they weren't photographed.

**Q: Have an moe m lock hand guard some say it fits others say no ... Will it fit securely**
A: This is not the mount for a MOE handguard. Magpul makes a special mount for MOE handguards, 
part# MAG-528 MAS QD-MOE mount. You will need to drill a hole in your handguard with the supplied hole saw. Very easy to install this but make sure you buy the Magpul MAG-528 MAS QD-MOE mount.  Watch videos on YouTube.

**Q: What's the spacing between these holes? can you remove the mlok mechanism and use it with standard hex/allen screws?**
A: The hole spacing is .750 ( 3/4 inch ), center to center of hole. You could use it with Allen screws however, if you intend to mount it to a flush surface, the M-lok mount has nubs on the back that you would have to file / grind off. The nubs are .060 high. Not a big deal and would totally work.
