Using 2 attached bachmann DC controllers I'm able to actively control 3 DCC locomotives. **Q: how do I gound it?** A: You don't need to ground it. The power supply to the wall is all you need. **Q: Is this the 2020 edition or a later?** A: The Express is the newest one out. **Q: 2 tracks not wired together a track1 and a track 2 will this dcc unit be able to run both tracks and control the locos at same time separately** A: You would be best to wire them together for dcc setup and probably a booster or 2 wired in also to keep your voltages up. I recommend on a larger scale layout to invest in the larger setup then this one as boosters would be needed but this is a good starting point for a small scale layout. Both tracks would have to share the same power supply with this setup. So they would have to be joined at the throttle as ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Perfect DCC Starter Set . *by C***I on April 21, 2026* Zephyr is an excellent starter for DCC , no real assembly required and I got for a great price. Easy to start up and programming is almost a breeze for an old man . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ N scale layout *by C***Y on May 23, 2026* This product is absolutely amazing. A small set up with so many wonderful options for a train layout. Extremely user-friendly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice controller for dcc model railway. *by R***H on June 26, 2024* In a moment of madness I decided to build a small (3x6) n scale layout using some of my son’s discarded locomotives and rolling stock. I modeled HO many years ago, and refreshed my memory with videos. Naturally, dcc controllers were offered as the “modern” approach to operating model trains. After comparing I settled on this one as a powerful beginner’s choice. So far, I have not been disappointed. There is a rigorous learning curve, and I do have experience with parameter programming on POS terminals. Just stick with it, the results are worth it. I can only speak as to the Digitrax because I haven’t used anything else. So far, so good! ## Frequently Bought Together - Digitrax Inc.
