Pulled up a YouTube video on how to make the inside swap. 3. Slid out the key.bthen used the key to press the button to remove the battery tray. Then got needle nose pliers and grabbed the circuit board in the middle at a little slot. Pulled snug on it and it slid out. 4. Did the reverse, slid the circuit board in, then battery tray and key. 5. Walked to the car, tried it and all buttons worked perfectly. A little stiffer but it is new and that is a good thing to me as you will be less likely to Mase them in your pocket. Last was order a 2nd one to fix the other broken one. Then hand key to the wife. She was happy and surprised so my job was done. You can't go wrong with ordering this. Watch a good video. Oh and the entire job minus watching the video took me maybe 3 or 4 minutes. The only suggestion I would make is to go ahead and replace the batteries at the same time the case is replaced. This is not true! It does not look exactly like the original, it is missing the logo on the back of the key. If you scroll to the bottom of the page in the detailed product description it mentions the logo is missing. But as they had already told me that it looked and functioned EXACTLY like the original there was no need to seek further information into the description. I am certain this is not the first complaint regarding this. And they are banking on the fact that the $3 restocking fee and shipping charges will deter people from returning it. So you are stuck with a key that DOES NOT look exactly like the original.
