Everyday Laminating: 3 mil Thickness 3 mil pouches offer basic document protection for everyday laminating uses. Recommended for your child's artwork, labelling, document organisation, certificates, and reference materials. Long Lasting Laminating: 5 mil Thickness 5 mil pouches offer a longer laster and more durable laminating finish. Recommended for ID cards, menus, recipe cards, photos, reusable classroom materials, and dry erase surface applications. Laminating with Scotch Laminators can be fast and easy, let us show you how. Make sure your machine is warm and ready to go. The on/off button can be found either as a toggle switch on the back or a push button on the top Choose your pouch setting, either 3 mil or 5 mil depending on the thickness of the pouch you are working with Warm up times can take between 1-6 minutes depending on your machine, your machine is warm enough to start laminating once the ready light illuminates. If your machine has a feeding tray, ensure it is extended in the ready position Place your project inside the laminating pouch. **Q: Can you laminate and then cut the sheet into smaller pieces without the laminating opening up/peeling?**
A: Sometimes it can peel depending on how/where its used. My solution for laminating smaller pieces of paper or card stock is to either place multiple pieces of small paper in one laminating sheet and then cut around each piece keeping about 1/8in border or using smaller laminating sheets for individual pieces such as 3x5 cards. Hope that helps!

**Q: What is the difference between this and the model tl901c-t?**
A: For one, the TL901C-T has been recalled

**Q: can you put 2 smaller things in a pouch and cut in half after laminating? there will be empty border around both items**
A: Yeah! I do it all the time. I'm a teacher, I put a million little things in and cut when I'm done! I was just doing it last night with like 10/12 little pieces of paper per sleeve.The more border the better obviously, but I trim mine pretty close sometimes. If you cut too close they'll wear or peel with repeated use or handling of the item. Good luck!
