It doesn't return to its full thickness anymore and compresses much easier than it did. It still gets 4 stars due to price and it will probably hold up better for someone that isn't as big as I am.I have gone through a few seat cushions trying to find a good one that wasn't crazy expensive. This one fit the bill perfectly. It's a great size and does the job very well. I am a big guy, 6'1", 260lbs, and this if very comfortable.
